It is that time of the year again! The time of year when we take to our couches to watch Christmas movies, travel in the snow to spend time with friends and family, and spend hours in the wilderness looking for a tree that would look perfect in our living rooms for the next month.

While some may go with some wine or a festive cocktail, here are a few beers that I tested out for this Christmas season. This week's beer reviews come from a variety of different kind of ales. Ales are warmed using a fermentation method that is warm, which results in an ale being more hops heavy. This fermentation method also allows ales to be sweeter with more hints of fruit. Let's take a look at some of the ales we found at the local store.

This week's beer review comes with a couple of, unintentional, themes. The three beers that were tried come from various breweries around Ohio, each coming with its own citrusy twist. While I enjoyed some more than others, each was something I could see myself ordering in the future.

One of my favorite parts of finding new craft beer to try is simple: a cool can. Nothing screams "TRY ME!" like a can that grabs your attention from a shelf. Sometimes it can be a crazy design, other times it can be a clever name.
